Its core activities include business advisory, corporate finance and M&A services, such as business and financial due diligence, company valuation, capital raising and transaction advisory. They are seeking a Consultant / Senior Consultant with a solid financial and accounting background and strong analytical skills to join their expanding team and actively contribute to the successful delivery of business and financial due diligence projects.
Consultant / Senior Consultant – Due Diligence Services
Purpose of the role
The Consultant will support the preparation of transactions and informed decision-making within business and financial due diligence projects—either under the supervision of a senior colleague or independently, depending on experience. The role involves preparing analyses, financial models and reports; assessing companies’ business performance; identifying risks; and assisting with project communication. The purpose of the position is to bring professional expertise and a consulting mindset to the Due Diligence team supporting client projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting business and financial due diligence assignments (red flag, full scope, leakage audit, MEIP test, GAP analysis)
- Analysing companies’/projects’ business performance and evaluating market and economic conditions
- Collecting data and preparing analyses, financial models, business plans and presentations
- Producing decision-support summaries, reports and presentations for senior management and owners
- Contributing to proposal preparation and contracting processes
- Participating in client communication: preparing written materials and presentations
- Depending on experience, assisting in project coordination and/or leading sub-projects
Requirements:
- University degree in economics, finance or accounting
- 2–3 years of relevant professional experience in business/financial analysis, accounting, consulting, or an analytical background gained in a corporate risk function within a commercial bank (e.g. corporate/credit risk, client rating, portfolio analysis)
- Strong knowledge of corporate finance, accounting and taxation
- Strategic mindset and ability to understand complex issues
- Confident MS Office skills (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)
- Fluent English, both written and spoken
- Proactivity, independence, and strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
