Our client is a market-leading financial institution in the field of services and products it provides with many years of history. Now they are seeking an ambitious employee with well-founded knowledge to develop a data asset management framework and then to operate and maintain the system. Name of the position:

Data Governor

 If you:

  • have at least 3 years of professional experience in data management and/or data protection,
  • are skilled in the development and/or maintenance of a master data management concept, you have a higher (university-college) qualification,
  • have a strong project management approach and task coordination skills,
  • communicate excellently and have an initiative and proactive attitude,
  • do your work independently, but at the same time you can cooperate well with others,
  • can communicate in English (at least in writing),

  • knowledge of international data management best practices,
  • knowledge of data protection regulations, basic principles of data management,
  • experience in creating, developing or improving data architecture, knowledge of data management software and applications,
  • experience gained in the banking sector in a similar position,

Your tasks will include:

  • designing the structure and regulatory framework of the data asset management system, implementing and operating a data strategy,
  • developing data management procedures, monitoring and ensuring data quality,
  • compliance with data protection and security rules, regulation of access to data, definition of roles,
  • coordination of employees performing the role of data manager (~30-40 people),
  • operation of a registration system, performance of system-level support duties,
  • supporting business users, holding training sessions,
  • maintaining contact and continuous consultation with partner departments, data managers and users,
