Our client is a Hungarian-German-owned medical technology company with 40 years of history of innovation and excellence in biological measurement techniques. The company deals with the international sale of human diagnostic products primarily used in the fields of neurology and cardiology catering, most of all to general practitioners. In connection with the European expansion, they are looking for a dedicated and experienced professional for the following position:

Director of Business Development

Focus Area: Diagnostic Devices for Cardiovascular and Peripheral Autonomic Neuropathy
Location: Europe (Remote with Frequent Travel)

 The ideal candidate:

  • Possesses significant experience in the trade of medical diagnostic devices or related products.
  • Demonstrates a proven track record in international business development, particularly within Europe.
  • Has successfully developed and executed strategies for sales, distribution, and business growth.
  • Offers deep insights into the international medical diagnostics market and excels at identifying opportunities and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Understands and manages diverse financing structures common in Europe.
  • Has experience establishing and maintaining distributor networks, with a focus on enhancing their efficiency and accelerating performance.
  • Is fluent in English; proficiency in German is a strong advantage.
  • Is open to frequent travel to meet business needs.

 Your responsibilities will include:

  • leading and expanding sales efforts across Europe to achieve growth targets
  • identifying and cultivating relationships with international partners, including general practitioners, pharmaceutical companies, research centers, hospitals, and insurance companies
  • building and optimizing a robust distributor network across Europe to promote and sell products effectively
  • developing strategies in collaboration with the company’s owners to ensure sustained growth and market penetration
  • creating and monitoring budgets to ensure alignment with business goals
